BASIC TRIAL SKILLS INSTITUTE

This week-long seminar is open to indigent defense attorneys who are new to trial practice and covers major aspects of trial practice through the use of presentations, demonstrations, and small group practice sessions. During the sessions, participants are individually recorded and given supportive feedback on their approach to various parts of practice including client interviews, cross-examination, direct examination, voir dire, and closing argument.
